CONGRATULATIONS NORTH SHORE ROYALS!
The North Shore Royals 16U team has made Infiniti Performance their off-season training home for the past 4 years. We could not be happier about their recent accomplishments. Congratulations to Head Coach & Coordinator Ken Sarling on another job well done!
-Top 16 finish in WWBA in East Cobb (GA) out of 180 teams.
-Nationally ranked 37th by Perfect Game in 16U.
-Ranked 5th in Perfect Game New England division.
-Beat 6 of top 20 teams PG ranked teams in country.

Amber Jones (Eastport-South Manor HS) - Amber recently verbally committed to Holy Cross College in Massachusetts, where she will play softball for the Crusaders. Amber, a catcher played this summer on the national powerhouse Beach Girls - Gold team on the West Coast.

Joe Fasano (Smithtown West HS) - Joe recently committed to play baseball at New Jersey Institute of Technology. In his junior year, Joe helped lead Smithtown West to a 17-1 League 4 record and championship.

June 2009
Brittany Jones (Patchogue-Medford HS) - Brittany was just crowned the Suffolk County Girls 100 Meter Champion this past weekend. She will represent Suffolk County at the New York State Track & Field Championships later this month. Brittany is also a member of the 4 X 100 Meter squad that set the record at Patchogue-Medford HS. Congratulations Brittany!

Joe Solomeno (Sachem East HS)- Joe committed to play baseball at Briarcliffe College, where he will play catcher. This past spring, Joe earned All-League-2 honors while performing for Sachem East HS.

Terrence Bohonan (Patchogue-Medford HS) - Terrence will attend Briarcliffe College where he will play outfield for the baseball team. Terrence was a major component of the P-M Raiders success over the past few seasons.

Lena Amalfitano
(East Islip HS)- Lena has accepted an athletic scholarship to Louisville University where she will play women's lacrosse. Lena also is a standout soccer player for the state finalist Lady Redmen of East Islip. Congratulations and good luck Lena!

Sharon Siegel (Tulane University) - Freshmen Sharon Siegel and Jessica Lange teamed up to win the Silver Draw Doubles Tennis Championship at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic on September 27, 2008. Sharon also defeated Jordan Zachary of Mississippi State University, in singles action the very next week. Way to go Sharon! We look forward to training you again this summer.

Marcus Stroman (Patchogue-Medford HS - Marcus recently selected to continue his baseball career at Duke University, as he signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Duke in September, on a baseball scholarship. Congratulations to Marcus on all his hard work on the field, as well as in the classroom!

Thor Miller (Miller Place HS) - Thor recently signed a National Letter of Intent to attend SUNY-Stony Brook on a baseball scholarship. Congratulations and continued good fortune to this hard working young man.

James Mulligan (Patchogue-Medford HS)- James is one of the elite prep soccer players in the northeast. James has signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer at national power, St. John's University this coming September. The people at St. John's do not yet know how lucky they are to get this dedicated young man. Congratulations Jim!

Infiniti Performance is the training home of the New York Outlaws!
The 13 year-old N.Y. Outlaws were widely regarded as the premier travel baseball team in the area for their age. The earned that high praise in part by winning the the Cooperstown Dreams Park Tournament this past summer. In so doing, they became the first ever squad from New York to win the title. We are proud to have the opportunity to help them continue their incredible success for years to come!


June 2008
Jordan Lite (Sayville HS) Jordan earned a tennis roster spot in the 2008 Empire State Games, to be held in Binghamton, NY. This marks the second year that Jordan will represent Long Island as a member of the girl's tennis team.

Newsday All-Long Island Team

Marcus Stroman (Patchogue-Medford HS) - Newsday Long Island Player of the Year
Stroman made huge strides offensively. He hit .400 with 2 HR's, 18 RBI, 28 runs scored, 30 stolen bases, and hit .536 with RISP. On the mound, he went 8-1 with a 1.85 ERA. In 64 1/3rd innings, he allowed 37 hits, struck out 96, and walked 18. He has committed to Duke.

Patrick Cantwell (West Islip HS)
Cantwell was one of the leaders of West Islip, which won the Suffolk AA Championship. Cantwell, who will play at SUNY-Stony Brook, hit .477 with 31 runs, 8 triples, 2 home runs, and 33 RBI. He was also and excellent defensive catcher throwing out 6 of 12 base stealers.

Nick Tropeano (West Islip HS)
The SUNY-Stony Brook-bound righthander went 8-1 with a 1.50 ERA and allowed 44 hits, struck out 83, and walked only 5 in 64 innings. He threw a shutout and struck out 11 in Game 1 of the Suffolk Class AA championship series. He hit .483 with a home run, 28 RBI, and 31 runs.

Sharon Siegel (Evert Tennis Academy, Boca Raton FL) Sharon has accepted a scholarship to play tennis at Tulane University. Sharon, a Hampton Bays resident, spent her senior year at the prestigious Evert Tennis Academy. Infiniti Performance was approved by the Evert Academy Strength & Conditioning Coach to prepare Sharon before she leaves for New Orleans in September.

March 2008
Christy Geslak (Ward Melville HS) Christy signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Bryant College where she will play field hockey. Congratulations Christy!

Maddy Combs (Ward Melville HS) Maddy has committed to SUNY - Cortland where she will play field hockey. Maddy earned All-Long Island honors this year on defense.

Judith Lite (Sayville HS) Judith has signed a National Letter of Intent to play tennis at Loyola College, in Maryland. Congratulations Judy!


August 2007
Glenn Gibson is selected to New York-Penn League All-Star Game!
Glenn will represent the Vermont Lake Monsters (Washington Nationals) in this mid-season event. Glenn went 4-0 with a 0.62 ERA (three runs in 43 2/3 innings) over his first eight starts of the season, holding right-handed hitters to a .203 average.

April 2007
Congratulations to the Long Island Breakers 9U Baseball team on an incredible year! The garnered a championship in the Ripken Gold Glove Tournament, went undefeated in the NJBL spring season, and again went undefeated in the NJBL summer league, this time playing up versus 10 year-olds! The young Breaker squad has trained at Infiniti Performance for the last two years to prepare for their challenging schedule. Congratulations, and keep up the commitment to being the best that you can be!!!

Kate Dulmovits (Sayville HS)
Kate has signed a National Letter of Intent to run track at St. Johns University next fall. Kate will run the 200 and 400 meters for the pretigious St. John's program.
Pete Bregartner (East Islip HS) Pete signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Binghamton University. Pete is a is an All-County baseball player and last year led the Redmen to the Suffolk County Class AA Championship.
Ryan Mikalsen (Sachem East) Left-handed pitcher Ryan Mikalsen recently signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at University of Connecticut.
Greg Smith (Eastport-South Manor HS) Righthander Greg Smith recently signed a National Letter of Intent to University of North Carolina-Greensboro. Greg will join a highly regarded crop of incoming freshmen that INCG was able secure. Greg also led ESM to the Class B Long Island title last year as a junior.
Kyle Crean (Miller Place HS) Kyle signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at SUNY Albany. A few weeks ago, Kyle also completed an All-County football season as he rambled for 794 yards from his running back position.
David Kubiak (Southold HS) Right-handed pitcher, David recently signed his National Letter of Intent to play baseball at SUNY Albany.
Nick Lettas (Smithtown East) Nick, a 2008 right-handed pitcher is currently ranked among the Top 25 2008 Baseball Players in the Northeast, by Perfect Game USA. Recently, Nick impressed college and professional scouts with a much improved 91 mph fastball.
Erica Amalfitano (East Islip HS) Congratulations to Erica who signed a National Letter of Intent to play lacrosse at Wagner College next year. Erica, also a soccer player, will play defense at the next level.
Amanda Seeley (Miller Place HS) Amanda, an 8th grade tennis player, recently received two honors. Amanda earned All-league honors in singles competition, and was named the varsity MVP. Amanda is the youngest player in the program's history to pull down that honor.

Infiniti Performance Staff Presents at Ripken Baseball Coaches Clinic

Stony Brook, NY - More than 500 baseball coaches from the NY Metro area - ranging from youth league to veteran high school coaches - congregated at the sold-out Ripken Baseball Coaches Clinic on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at the SUNY Stony Brook Campus to brush up on their teaching skills for the upcoming spring season.

Russell Taveras, Director of Training at Infiniti Performance, was selected by Ripken Baseball to deliver a presentation on performance training. The presentation, titled Training the Youth Baseball Player focused on the development of strength, speed, agility, and flexibility for the baseball player. The overall goal of the 45 minute presentation and subsequent Q & A, was to educate the coaches in the safe and effective implementation of exercises and drills appropriate for youth athletes. The topics included, but were not limited to, an active warmup, agility ladder work, long toss program, and speed enhancement.

Two Juniors, Two Pitchers, Two Awards...One Training Home!

Infiniti Performance would like to congratulate both Glenn Gibson and Matthew Petiton on their respective, prestigious awards. Both of these young men secured the award for Pitcher of the Year in their respective county. Most amazing is that they both did this in their junior years! Glenn and Matt certainly earned the recognition, as they put in many hours of training at Infiniti Performance.

Glenn Gibson
(Center Moriches HS) signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at the University of Central Florida. As a junior, Glenn was the recipient of the 2005 Paul Gibson Pitcher of the Year Award presented annually to Suffolk County's best pitcher.

Matt Petiton (Garden City HS) signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at the University of North Carolina.. As a junior, Matt was the recipient of the 2005 Diamond Award, presented annually to Nassau County's best pitcher.

Lou Picconi (Chaminade HS) signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Penn State University. Lou, a shortstop, is a four-time member of the Long Island team that competes each summer at the Empire State Games.

Dan Pembroke (Shoreham-Wading River HS) signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Dowling College. Dan, an outfielder, is a two-time All-County selection in Suffolk.
Derek Squires (William Floyd HS) signed a National letter of Intent to play baseball at Columbia University. Derek, an All-League pitcher, was a member of the Long Island Empire State Team this past summer, Derek hurled a shut out (1-0) against the New York City Team that went on to win the gold medal.
