Congrats to Nate Chavious for earning All-NEC Football honors after a season which saw him amassed over 900 All-Purpose yards and led Sacred heart in rushing yards.
Carly Tellekamp (Towson University – Attack) was just named to the Pre-Season Colonial Athletic Conference Team! All she did last year was lead the team in scoring and finish 3rd in points for the nationally ranked Lady Tigers!

Chris Gomez (Patchogue-Medford HS ) won the NYS Wrestling Title at 138 lbs last week in Albany, NY. Chris is as humble and hard-working as they come. We are so happy for you Chris!

And the recipient of the ISP Athlete of the Month for April is….Nick Zucker! Nick is a grinder and although so quiet, his confidence in himself has gone through the roof, as have his gains here!
After a long rehab journey Nick Tropeano returns to a MLB mound this week for the Anaheim Angels. Great job in getting your body back to this point!
We would like to congratulate New York Mets prospect Anthony Kay on his 1st professional ‘W”!
Look who just got promoted to AA ball…Mike O’Reilly will take the mound for the Springfield Cardinals this week after an impressive A ball campaign.

Fireballin’ St. Anthony’s pitcher Alyssa Seidler just tossed her 3rd No-Hitter in last 4 starts! By the way…his Boston College-bound hurler is only a junior!
Mike O’Reilly (ISP Family member since he was 12 yrs old) just got his right arm promoted AGAIN all the way up to the Memphis Redbirds (St. Louis Cardinal Organization). Mike spent less than 2 weeks in AA where in his 2 starts he pitched 12 1/3 innings, and left behind a very tidy ERA of 0.00, 5 hits, and 11 K’s! Next stop….?
Congrats to “Mood” on committing to play QB for the Wagner Seahawks! Mahmood overcame plenty and never gave up!

Jared West (Bay Shore – Baseball) was honored by Newsday as their Athlete of the Week. In three playoff games for the Marauderss jared threw a complete game, saved another and hit a game-winning triple!

Congratulations to ISP Family Alec Maag, Liam Pulsipher, And David Falco and the rest of the Center Moriches baseball team for winning the New York State Class B Championship!
Well earned ISP Athlete of the Month Award for Victoria Vitale. She has been busting it in here in preparation for her freshman Kean University.
Another ISP Family member selected in the MLB Draft! Franklin (Copaigue HS) was taken in the 11th Round of the 2018 MLB Draft . This marks our 14th athlete drafted by MLB in only the last 3 years!!!
All – Long Island Softball ‘s Alyssa Seidler!
Alyssa led the Friars to their second-straight CHSAA championship with her bat and her arm, pitching to a 9-2 record with three no-hitters and two one-hitters and a 1.03 ERA with 130 strikeouts in 75 innings. She hit .481 with 36 RBIs in the middle of the order.
Congrats to ISP athlete Lori Vollkommer on getting 3 gold medals at the Gymnastics WORLD Championships in Orlando!
Bruce Kern is the staff ace for the Lamigo Monkeys of the Taiwan Baseball League, and pitching like it. He has been dominant as the Monkeys just won the “1st half” championship! Good luck rest of the way Bruce!
June’s ISP Athlete of the Month is Tony Kaminskey (Lindenhurst HS ) Tony plays lacrosse and football at Lindenhurst HS. He has worked exceptionally hard, through a tough schedule to get better at each sport!

For the 2nd consecutive month a lacrosse player has won the ISP Athlete of the Month award! Colin is a quick learner with everything we throw at him. Congrats Colin!

Kyle McGowin made his Major League debut for the Washington nationals as he came in to pitch an inning of relief vs St Luis Cardinals on September 5th!
Hoop star Evan Maxwell was signed to play in Portugal's top basketball league recently. He will be swishin' & dishin' for Galitos Barreiro! This is Evan's 3rd year of playing professionally in Europe!
