SEMI-PRIVATE PERFORMANCE TRAINING

"TRUST THE PROCESS"

We take tremendous pride in “Setting the Standard” in sports performance training. This program is unique in comparison to other providers and therefore is the core of our business.

The world of athletics has advanced, and so has the training. ISP continues to develop cutting-edge, high performance, multi-faceted programs for all athletes that desire to gain a competitive advantage. We are so committed to providing an optimal experience for each and every athlete, that we facilitate personalized training programs within our Semi-Private Sessions. In this program the group size is 2-6 athletes per session.

Our proven programs go beyond sport-specific, and are periodized in order to achieve peak results when the athlete’s season arrives. Each athlete will undergo a Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Evaluation with Dartfish Video Analysis to identify areas of deficiency including muscular imbalances, movement flaws, and an injury profile. During the evaluation, a battery of performance testing will be conducted to determine baseline measures of an athlete’s strengths and weaknesses. These individually tailored programs also include a Nutritional Consultation, Vision Training, & Recovery Methods. Athletes will periodically be re-assessed to measure progress toward their respective objectives.

IN-SEASON STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING

Detraining Effects:Training-induced strength gains regress toward pre-training values during the course of the detraining period at a rate of 3% per week.

What does that mean to the high school athlete?

During a 12-week high school season, the athlete will lose more than 1/3rd of their strength gains.

Strength & Conditioning needs to be approached with the same motivation and organization during the competitive season. The intent is not to “fatigue or overwork” the athlete, but instead to foster peak performance when it matters most!

Our “In-Season” approach is very different from our “Off-Season” program design. We move the emphasis of training from high-volume Strength/Power, to more Sport Skill-Specific type training and Max Power.

GOALS FOR IN-SEASON PROGRAMS

  • Eliminate Strength & Power Loss

  • Prevent Injury

  • Maintain Peak Performance Level
